NLBI ministers to people in one of the poorest areas in Kenya called Turkana. Trainer Alex sent a humble request on April 17, 2023. "I would like to share with you that I have received reports from our sisters and brothers in Turkana. They are facing extreme hunger and starvation." His email included a detailed request of the food and toiletry supplies they would buy with a small donation from NLBI.
After the request was approved, Mike Biggers' replied to brother Alex, demonstrating NLBI's love for those the Lord is reaching through this ministry. Mike wrote, "Our hearts break with yours over the extreme circumstances these sweet people face. When you make this delivery, please be sure to use the food in the name of Jesus. We want them to know that He has not forgotten their names. We want them to know that they have great value as image bearers of God."
Later in the month, Alex sent a beautiful response. "The people of Turkana sent their love to NLBI. I can testify that they were renewed both spiritually and physically. Most importantly, they appreciated what God has done for them through you. Everyone is thankful for your support. Thank you for bringing renewal to them. Please receive their gratitude. They will not forget about you."
