NLBI's focus has always been to teach people about Jesus. With the broadening of the ministry through Vision 5.5, the ministry also demonstrates the love of Jesus in many ways, including "expanding the prison ministry to provide for physical needs."
When Mike Biggers visited the Chinhoyi Prison Farm in Zimbabwe in July, he learned that the water tank that supplies the drinking water for the entire prison was not functioning properly due to being damaged. In August, NLBI provided funds to Trainer Stanley Shereni to purchase a 5,000 liter water tank.
Stanley wrote, "On behalf of the inmates who now have water, we want to say thank you so much."
