We are so very thankful for each person who attended the annual Dinner celebration this year. It was a night of praise, prayer and thanksgiving, as five speakers shared what God is doing in this family of ministries.
God is moving powerfully in the Trainers' efforts. What we thought were challenging goals when we set them in July 2022 have been far surpassed with 15 months remaining until the completion of Vision 5.5. While the goal for five-and-a-half-years was to teach 150,000 people, these men and women have already taught more than 276,000. We rejoice that the goal to baptize 7,500 people looks meager compared to the 13,240 who have already been baptized!
The 18 Trainers who are part of the Women of Worth Worldwide program have taught 20,000 of this number and baptized 1,055. NLBI Board Chair Lyndah Drum continues to encourage these women and look for opportunities to grow in this area, including vocational skills training.
The work with the Tarrant County Juvenile Justice System (newLife RISING) now has 30 volunteers who have taught a total of 134 students since April 2025. And here's an important update since the Dinner . . . We are very excited to announce that Jennifer Cox, who has been extremely instrumental in the growth of this ministry, has agreed to work part-time for NLBI, serving as the Program Director of newLife RISING.
We introduced our new partner in mission, World Outreach Evangelism led by Rugumanya Murama, which primarily serves refugees, immigrants, and international communities, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, developing leaders, and planting multiplying house churches. These newLife GATHERING believers make disciples who make disciples while helping local churches engage the nations God has brought to their doorstep.
newLife RESTORED, the international prison outreach, is also flourishing as two of the articles below highlight.
The many people represented by these five areas of ministry are in different circumstances and different countries with different needs, but one thing connects them all -- they matter to God. Because they matter to God, they matter to us. They are part of the family.
Of course if you are involved with any of these ministries in any way, you are a part of the family and we are very grateful to you and for you.
We praise God for all He is doing in the newLife FAMILY!
