"Five hundred and forty students from (the local) high school attended our NLBI seminar. The expectation was to teach students about positive behavior change -- helping them overcome challenges such as drug addiction, bullying, early teenage pregnancies, skipping classes, and anger issues.
"At NLBI, we acknowledge that it is important for schools to adopt a proactive approach when addressing teenage behavior, which the 'Sense of Self' course addresses. Most students struggle with their identity. NLBI lessons teach them appropriate ways to raise self-worth and reflect on God’s love by using the examples in Luke 15 of the lost sheep, the lost coin and the lost son.
"By the end of our seminar, 46 students had made the decision to be baptized. Our goal is to reach out to many high schools in Kenya by the end of 2023.
