Empowering and Encouraging Rural Christian Women in Zambia

"Teaching rural women, who often have fewer opportunities, is not always easy, but it is a very encouraging work. It brings us great joy when these women learn about their true worth and the hope they have in the Lord. This is what makes our ministry so meaningful.

"In June, my wife Racheal and I had the privilege of ministering to over 100 women at a three-day WOWW Ministry event in the rural district of Chipangali. The theme of the conference came from Isaiah 60:1, 'Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you' (New International Version).

"The conference brought together women from different congregations. They each shared their unique talents and gifts to minister to one another in creative ways. The event was lively and full of activity. The women sang, taught, and used simple artistic performances to bring Bible teachings to life. This was especially helpful for those who find it hard to learn through regular sermons.

"The theme, 'Arise, Shine,' touched the women deeply. Many of them come from difficult backgrounds and often feel overlooked or unimportant. But as they heard and reflected on the message, they began to see themselves differently. They realized that God sees them as valuable and that His light is alive in them.

"This new understanding gave them confidence. They were excited to go back to their homes and churches and use their Christian gifts to share the hope they had received. The theme reminded them that they are not just receivers of help, but also givers of light to others."

It is so exciting to read Kingdom-expanding testimonies from our friends in faraway countries. These faithful servants face difficult circumstances and are busy finding new and creative ways to go “deeper” into communities to “Restore Hope and Transform Lives.” Collectively they have planted more than 400 churches; and by using the 180+ lessons that NewLife Behavior International provides, they have the much-needed resources to help these churches develop disciple makers (II Timothy 2:2). Our hope is that you would prayerfully consider partnering with NLBI and our friends. Because of your willingness to share your time, talent and treasure, God’s name is being made “great among the nations” (Malachi 1:11). Philippians 1:4-6 New International Version “In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
